Suction dredging hoses are designed for rugged applications and can be used in any size. They do not bend in harsh working conditions. We can provide suction hoses based on the ID of the hose, the desired bending angle and the acceptable built-in length.

Suction Dredging Hose Applications:

Suction Hoses are dredging operations designed for sludge transport. The flexible and easy-to-install dredging hose is abrasion and kink resistant thanks to the combination of synthetic materials and helical steel. The smooth inside of the hose helps prevent clogging and avoids damage from passing abrasives.

Temperature: -25 °C to +80 °C (-13 °F to +176 °F)

Suction Dredging Hose Structure:
Tubing: Abrasion resistant synthetic rubber, high-strength crushing layer, coated with high-grade synthetic rubber inner surface.
Reinforcement: High tensile strength fabric with a steel internal structure. A fully embedded steel wire coil is incorporated to achieve kink, crush, and localized load resistance.
Cover: Synthetic rubber, abrasion-resistant, weather-resistant, seawater and oil resistant. The lid containing the reinforced crusher layer is either black with bright orange spiral stripes, or coated with tough bright orange polyurethane.

Dredging discharge hoses can be used in many different applications. For example, cutting the connecting hose between the dredger and the discharge line. Jet water pipes or floating steel pipes. Burst pressures up to 90 bar are available in a variety of sizes. In addition, it can be equipped with any kind of flange.

 

Drede Discharge Hose Applications:

Our dredging discharge hoses are used for port and terminal discharge of seawater, silt, sand, and other dredged materials. The discharge hose has excellent stiffness and resistance to external physical damage.

Tubing: Synthetic abrasion resistant rubber with a high-strength crusher layer for maximum adhesion to the hose carcass.

Floating dredging hoses consist of several layers. The internal discharge hose is protected by a float, which is laterally protected by an enhanced rubber casing. Several designs are available.

Application

Our dredging hoses are used for discharging seawater, slurry, sand, and other dredging applications at ports and docks. They are typically employed during the construction phase of piers and port areas.
